Areas of Support

Consulting on all aspects of data storage. I/O performance, data retension, data backup, restoration, and archival. Consulting on ethernet network configuration including layer 2 switching and trunking and layer 3 switching (routing) and trunking. Consulting on system administration issues under Linux (RedHat EL3,4,5), Solaris 2.6,7,8,9,10, HP-UX 9.x, 10.x, 11.x

Responsibilities

  • Maintainance and administration of the CCR SAN/NAS solution from EMC
  • Management of storage within CCR
  • Configuration and Administration of the internal core Forec10 E600 network switches
  • Configuration and Administration of all backups at CCR using the followings:
    • Legato Netorker
    • Sun StorEdge Enterprise Backup & Solstice Backup (Networker re-badged by Sun)
    • ELS9595 - HP 595 slot tape library with four SDLT160/320 drives and four SDLT 100/200 drives
    • E180 - Sun 84 slot tape library with four Ultrium 1 (100/200GB) tape drives
    • E400 - Sun 20 slot Exabyte 8mm 20/40GB tape library
  • System administration support on Linux & Solaris
