CCR Backup and Retention Policy
  • Home directories on all CCR machines are backed up to a Tape Library.
    • Incremental backups occur daily, and a full backup weekly.
    • Backups are retained for ONE MONTH.
  • By default, NO OTHER USER DATA ARE BACKED UP. This includes data residing in group project directories. Faculty interested in backups of group data should contact the CCR staff for backup schedule and fee information.
  • Every effort will be made to retrieve requested data files from the backups, however we do not guarantee that the data can be recovered.
  • Request a file restored from the backups.
