Accident Reconstruction

In an effort to foster economic growth in Western New York, CCR works with a local engineering firm, TVGA Consultants, to create detailed, 3D reconstructions of various accidents. Working closely with accident reconstruction specialists, CCR creates detailed environments based on CAD data, orthoimagery, and various other assets. Several of the accidents we've worked on are showcased here to demonstrate our capabilities.

!Truck.jpg|align=right!Almost all of our accident visualizations are real-time, meaning the computer is doing all the calculations while the user interacts with the scene. Various viewpoints can be set in order to see witness locations and the entire area can be flown to see any angle.

Videos can be created based on these simulations to be played back on a PC or DVD/VCR.

!Acc_car.jpg!Since we've started working on these reconstructions, TVGA has been able to create a new business model incorporating these new techniques. We are also working closely with them to facilitate training and further expansion.
