PAAPAB and Beat Box, two networked virtual reality art projects will be showing during the iGrid conference, September 24 - 26, networked between Amsterdam, NYSCEDII at UB, Indiana and Chicago.

These interactive 3D demonstrations will allow users to see and feel the power of VR applications using the latest global network capabilities. Visit NYSCEDII, 5 Norton Hall, UB to take part (schedule

iGrid 2002 features ~30 applications from a number of disciplines: art, bioinformatics,chemistry, cosmology, cultural heritage, education, high-definition media streaming, medicine, neuroscience, physics, and tele-science. including ~5 VR applications. All these applications utilize underlying grid technologies. Participating researchers and resources are located worldwide.
